442.050 Repeater

Welcome to the W3MSX repeater located in sprawling Penn Township, Westmoreland County in Western Pennsylvania. This repeater operates on 442.050 - 447.050 with CTCS of 131.8.The repeater is a Yaesu DR-2X which is Fusion capable. The antenna sits at about 1241 feet in elevation and runs 50 watts. The repeater was designed to be reliable and to cover the township, it was never designed to have "Super" coverage but will hilltop more than 15 miles. It does have Weather Alerting feature activated. Echo Link is under construction at this time.
